this album is far too long for its own good tbh

it's another case of "you could condense this down to 8 songs and it'd be so much better"

You could just take Reflektor and Here Comes the night time Pt.1 from disk 1, put them together with disc 2 (maybe cut out the weird and pointless 2nd half of Supersymetry) and you'd have their most consistent album.

Flashbulb Eyes is the best thing here, imo. It gets hate but it’s concise and that outro is godly. It makes me wanna salsa my way to heaven with a beautiful Mexican. Album slays hard.

I just finished it - it's not that bad, the low points were pretty bad yes and nothing was amazing but on the whole it's average at worst for me.

I have Everything Now at a 2.0 (which isn't terrible), but that's a pretty significant drop from a solid 3.5 like this.

2.5-3 for me, unless it gets significantly worse with repeat listens. But yeah, definitely a drop from this. Basically it's on par with the weaker moments here but doesn't have the highlights - though at least it doesn't go on for 75 minutes.

Shit on them as much as you like but try as they might to ruin their reputation they are one of the great acts of their generation.

Well, this is not at the same levl of funeral or the her soundtrack.

Still is a fun dance rock tune, really enjoyable disco music for hipsters unlike their most recent effort which was average
