Face Beneath, Greater, 17 Crimes, Deep Slow, The Embrace and The Conductor are probably my top 5 so you still did really well here though!

i just don't like that it's a 2 chorus no variation song when it feels like it's meant for so much more than that seeing as it's a pretty cinematic track. still good! and yeah, epic top 5!

This album has grown on me so much. I remember being a bit disappointed by this initially and it has just grown and grown for years

I actually agree with Grey on The Conductor. It's a cool track but it's never been one of my favorites. I really wish we got the full version of The Sinking Night because that deserves to be a full song. Still a great opener but I think it could have been a full track like Torch Song and still have worked as a great opener. A Deep Slow Panic, Rewind, 17 Crimes, and Greater Than 84 are all top tier AFI tracks. 17 Crimes has honestly become one of my favorites over the years. It's so damn catchy and I love the guitar tone. The solo might be my favorite from Jade as well. Not super lengthy but the feelings it evokes hit perfectly.

The Face Beneath The Waves is also a great closing track. One of the "heaviest" tracks that they've ever put out. It's super dark and oppressive. Honestly not a bad track here. Even the tracks that I don't absolutely love like The Conductor are still very good. No Resurrection was another one that I wasn't too hot on when the album came out but it has definitely grown on me a lot.

17 crimes might be one of AFI's greatest singles ever. Totally agree. The Embrace is the one that has grown the most on me over the years

Rewind did a full 180 for me, used to actively dislike it.

17 Crimes has gotta be the best pop single we've gotten from these guys in the longest time, so stupidly catchy indeed

No Resurrection is incredible, unlike anything they've ever done and it's just such a good vibe. it always brings Degausser to mind, they def have a similar makeup even though this one is def less intense (i think i saw that comparison first on this site?)
