they play some hectic live shows. you gotta make sure you catch them at a smaller venue though. I saw them at the fillmore... it was absolutely amazing. I was right up at the stage. I was surprised to see that there were no hardcore assholes in the pit either. No one got hurt but it was still a hectic fun pit to be in. Everyone went CRAZY when they played puritania.

except for the fact that a good 75% of modern black metal is either strongly influenced by them or uses techniques and quirks founded by them.

not in order...

I know they played all if not most of their hits.

Progenies of the great apocalypse

Kings of the Carnival Creation

Mourning Palace

Spellbound (by the devil)

The Serpentine Offering

Blessed upon the Throne of Tyranny.

sympozium

Puritania

Thats all I can remember playing. The show was hectic and filled with a lot of wonderful moments. They played a lot off puritanical.

That must have been a fucking awesome show. The first three are my three favorite Dimmu songs.

It really was even though moonspell and danzig were a big stink.

skeletonwitch was really good. They were very raw and had a lot of energy.

I went to that blackest of the black tour. It was decent. Dimmu played for liek three songs too long, and Moonspell was boring. Skeletonwitch was so sick though

danzig SUCKED!

and they actually thought they were good to. they played like, 5 encores because they thought we wanted it. I was so high though I must have laughed harder than I ever did during danzig lol.

then I woke up, and the effects of the pit, and a major hangover loomed over me like an angry storm cloud from hell
