"it’s a bit obvious that this whole idea of composing pop songs that far exceed the average radio hit’s length is a very forced and deliberate attention ploy."

Can we really say something like this? I mean, isn't it possible that he just really wants these songs to be long, and that there isn't anything more to it? I get what you're saying, but it does rub me the wrong way that you'd label it as an obvious attention ploy.

Also, there's so much emphasis on the extended songs in this review. I know it's a concern with Timberlake's music, but I feel your review would benefit if you dug deeper into the topic-- because as it stands now, you're simply pointing out repeatedly that these tunes are long.

Not a bad review-- I just feel like it's a bit repetitive and surface-level for your standards.

@Omaha I honestly think it's just incorrect to say that I don't go in depth as to why I take issue

with the songs being long. I don't just say that the songs are long and boring, I think I went into

each track and specifically described how they each could have benefited from being more concise

individually.

And the only reason there's so much emphasis on it is because that's the only issue with the album

that affects every aspect, and I think my argument as to why that is is much more than "surface-

level." And as far as Timberlake just "wanting these songs to be long" goes, that's just fine and

dandy, but there's deliberately making songs long just for the sake of it, and then there's making

songs the length they should be because there's actually purpose behind it. The only intention on

this album was to just make long songs out of music that doesn't show much of a reason to go on for

so long.

It was an F♯ A♯ ∞ review followed by 2 pages of some terrible Naruto fan fiction I copy and pasted from somewhere.

So yeah my best work I'd say.

"Drink You Away" is such a horrible song. Easily the worst song he's done. Other than that this is pretty good. Obviously part
1 is better but this is still a nice album.
