Listened to this in full for the first time in years... man I forgot how good some of these songs are. Head and shoulders their best "album". So consistent, so thematically coherent, so varied, and it doesn't really lose its momentum towards the end like the rest of their albums kinda do. Might not have as many straight up bangers but it's the best.

Oh it most def does, but it's also prob the one most confined to/emblematic of the era it came from by comparison to the other ones. The downside of being the most influential artist in a scene full of unabashed copycats.
