"What's so bad about it?"



The angst and aggression which defined their best releases is gone. It becomes hard to tap into past experiences when you have already written several albums about those very same experiences. It's like NIN's latest release, it's good, but nothing great.

Honestly I like See You on the Other Side and Korn III more than this album. I came in with low

expectations and wanted to be surprised, but I wasn't. This is basically direct a sequel to the last

album without the dubstep. A couple issues are the complete lack of album flow and subtlety. Korn is

good with making their metal both subtle and powerful, but this album has no subtlety. There are some

good songs but the album overall just doesn't hit me that hard.

P.S. - Witnessing Jonathan Davis attempt to "sing" some of these songs live would be comical.
