Listened to the album a few times this morning. Damn it's heavy, but that's not the only reason why this album is ace. The songwriting is top notch here, and Kennedy's voice seems to fit whatever style the band are playing. This is also the first album I've heard from the band, so if anyone's up for recommending me any more albums by this band, go for it.

Listening to the stream.. Bleed It Dry going from a fucking meaty metal riff into a full blown blues song. I'll have this for breakfast any day thank you.

this is typical sputnik right here. an album from a questionable band drops -> fanboys jizz -> then come the 1s and opinions from those who haven't listend -> folks actually listen -> album is a 2-3
in the meantime i just sit here and watch. i've never heard anything by this band and have no opinion of them. all i know is they have the guitarist from creed

same members, different sound. Creed is a lot more of half-baked post grunge, Alter Bridge has more of a melodic metal sound with a hell of a lot more complexity
