Their other two albums do absolutely not pale in comparison - they're all of a very similar quality but this is probably the best, followed by the debut and then Aja. Awesome to see it's a 5 for you

Awesome. I have been meaning to for a while, I just never got around to it.
Oh, yeah, this might have been the closest I have ever been to a 5 right from the get go (I left it at a 4.5 for a while before I finally bumped it; I'm a stingy 5 giver). I had a similar thing happen with As Tall as Lions S/t, too.
Lost Dogs is maybe the closest thing to a misstep on this album for me, but I'm still not even sure if I can honestly say that, ha ha. It's got a bit of an odd vibe to it, but it's a great closer.

I find Pretty Girls to be a bit of a misstep at first as well, starts off just like an average indie rock song about girls... makes up for it later tho

I like Pretty Girls. It's got a nice groove to it. The River and 747 are my favorites. Whenever I listen to this straight through, I am always pumped for 747 once Pretty Girls starts up, cause I know it's next next.
It's kind of like a one, two, holy shit I love this album kind of thing when that threefer starts up. All of it's fantastic, tho.

Yeah, album works brilliantly as a whole and every track is brilliant - it's a small niggle with Pretty Girls.
My favourites are probably the first 5 tracks, particularly that awesome drumming in Itchy Blood
