In The Presence of Enemies part 1 and 2 and Ministries are the only decent tracks here. Everything is too inconsistent. The beginning of the solo for Constant Motion is pretty cool but it doesn't build on it and the first half is nothing worth celebrating

I was celebrating the first half for days though. Had a party and everything.

The dark eternal nights verses are horrid but the rest of the song is brutal as fuck. Ministry is good for the most part but too meandering. Almost every song on SC is either bad or really good but majorly flawed

The solo is so out of place on Ministries but the rest of it is pretty damn good. But yeah, I agree with that description and it's sad cos this is the DT album that exemplifies that the most

Apart from their debut, 6D, Octavarium and their last one, I would say I listen to all of their songs and I really like them. Even though I understand they are ''wanking'' or nothing innovative, I have any reason to enjoy the tracks. Also, giving SC another spin, ''In The Presence... Pts. I II'', ''Dark Eternal...'', ''Ministry...'' and sometimes even ''Forsaken'', I dig, for fun. The others are indeed pretty meh...

Talons just posted that on the other page and I'll say it again, that that list is pretty crap if you ask me. Come on, they put Pull Me Under as greater than Learning To Live?

@Mythodea: I used to be like that, I enjoyed the wankery and never thought of it as excessive. Good times

Yeah they missed learning to live, breaking all illusions, 6deg song, and home but they had most of their best songs

I suppose. It wasn't that far off, but they just frustratingly missed out some obvious choices

Btw, am I the only one who thinks Falling Into Infinity is a very enjoyable album? I mean, it gets so much hate, and I get why (Your Not Me, Burning My Soul, Doug Pinnick's appearance), but to me it's still better than SC, BC&SL, ToT and Octavarium and s/t. (sorry, changing the topic)
