The ACoS snare sounds like a snare should sound in real life.
The snare on this record sounds like the Images and Words snare, ie pixies and unicorns snare.

Enigma Machine, The Bigger Picture, Behind The Veil and Surrender To Reason are all fantastic. The rest is fine but could have been way better

First impression is pretty good, bass is actually more audible which I didn't see coming, but wow they really rip off Rush on a good portion of these songs. Then of course it's not the first time they've borrowed from the greats of prog.

The album really grew on me, like it from first to last. With the exception of I&W, which blew me away at first hearing when it came out in 92 as it was so innovative and inventive, all of DT’s albums needed time to fully kick in.

Agreed, but I also really like SDoiT though. It's their last "big one" imo.

Yeah. Old DT is amazing. I usually watch the Live in Tokyo DVD instead of listening to the albums. It isn't mixed well but they sounded so good when they had Moore.
