My record store says they have a delivery day set for October 29 for the vinyls of this to arrive. That probably isnt the official release date but I'm sure it's around there. Definitely getting it. The cover is amazing.

i expect janelle monae to be innovative especially after chase suite EP. she has so much potential. i think you're suggesting that she's dumbing down her sound purposefully?

Ive listened to so many soul records this year and this is closer to the middle of the pack tbh. omar's the man is more consistent, but the bangers bang harder on this. if you want an awesome old/new soul experience, check out coultrain's jungle mumbo jumbo
