So much of Wilson's music sounds really bland to me. Plus he's a terrible lyricist and I'm really not a fan of his singing either.
He's a fantastic producer though, I'll give you that.

I love SW's singing (come at me), yeah his lyrics might not be special but I don't give too much of a shit about that. As a musician I think he's brilliant imo, there's very little of his music that I don't like. I'm hoping he does a more twisted storm corrosion next

I guess I'll just never see the level of brilliance you see in Wilson, Omair. I'm not really a fan of much of his work to be honest.
I did like Storm Corrosion quite a bit though. Need to listen to that album again, it's been a while.

I thought parts of Grace For Drowning were really good but I found it a bit boring as a whole. I have to admit I haven't given his new album a focussed listen yet, I've only listened to songs from it on youtube and none of them really grabbed me.

His solo work is alright, could be better. GFD had some absolutely fantastic stuff like Belle De Jour, Track One, etc (some interesting ideas) but yeah it could also be better. The new album probably won't grab your attention, I think its his weakest one. Nothing new. Its funny that i have all his solo albums at 3.5, think I might have to re assess some ratings
