It's (still) currently the wooden spoon of Death albums. All 4+ now. What an awesome band. I can see it (maybe) overtaking Spiritual Healing in time.

Really gotta jam this again, it's been a long ass time. Musically I always found it very enjoyable, it's just really hard for me to get into the vocals on this one. Perhaps my taste has changed a bit over the years.

The vox were definitely my main gripe initially, they've grown on me since.

The vocal style on this album is my favorite of all death records. It's got a more thrashy vibe to it.

It's really just high pitched vocals in general I can't get into for some reason. I can't enjoy a lot of old heavy metal for that reason, like Judas Priest or King Diamond. I dig Iron Maiden, but sometimes Bruce hits those really high notes and I can't help but cringe lol. I know the vox on this aren't THAT high compared to stuff like that, but yeah, just not my thing really.
I always loved the music on this one though, so hopefully the vox have grown on me a bit. Only one way to find out, guess I'm gonna jam this now and see what I think.

Agreed on King Diamond, man that's hard to tolerate sometimes. Priest is palatable. I have the same problem with screechy high-pitched guitars which is seemingly commonplace in 80s metal.
Vektor is a weird one & somewhat of an exception because the dude is a high screamer but I love Terminal Redux. Vox bother me slightly more on their other releases though, not sure why.

Yeah I know what you mean about the screechy guitars, especially combined with those super high vocals, shit makes me feel like my ears are gonna explode sometimes. I do find Judas Priest way more tolerable than King Diamond though, Diamond can really make me cringe.
But yeah I agree about Terminal Redux, I actually like the vocals on that album. Way easier to get into higher pitched screams than it is high pitched singing for sure.
