A monumental slice of 90s nostalgia with this one which never fails to make me feel young again, ironically this album was an essential part of growing up.

The albums go.

Leisure - early 90s baggy indie, rip off shoegaze pop with moments of greatness.

Modern Life Is Rubbish - reclamation of English identity from american influenced rock via indie pop.

This - Same as Modern Life x 5

The Great Escape - a parody of the 2 that preceded it and best avoided.

Blur - a change in direction to incorporate 'art' and has some of the bands best moments.

13 - further explorations into noise while still being Blur and possibly the bands best album.

Think Tank - A Damon Albarn solo project that's more Blur than Gorillaz.

I don't really like Oasis personally and the Gallagher brothers are right royal tossers.

I hated Oasis with a passion in the Blur v Oasis wars.

Now Oasis are the only ones I'll spin from that era but Blur will get the odd play.

Modern Life is Rubbish was always my best. Chemical World is one of my all time great tunes.

Great Escape is a light 3.5 and way inferior to Modern Life and Parklife
