Yeah I think 2010 was the last solid year. Majesty and Decay is the last big release in Death Metal, personally.



Good news is my list of albums to get grows slower than I get them. Bad news it that means less worthwhile releases every year.

Its mainly because the same bands that are good release around the same time. Every year with an Immolation and Suffocation album tends to be good. Carcass and Gorguts comebacks don't hurt these years likeability, either.

Sure Suffocation and Immolation didn't do anything phenomenal this time around but they get 4s. It helps out the year when you know a couple bass will have solid albums to add to their diacography.



Can't name a Immolation or pre-hiatus Suffocation album that blew.
