They did try a little bit too hard but the majority of it worked compared to the smaller amount that sucked.

Yeah, this is the opposite of safe. Safe would be writing Sound Awake part 2. This album is pretty inaccessible and raw....don't really see how it's safe at all.



I too am really interested to see where they go next. I kind of hope that they get over their obsession with dissonance and follow a more melodic path. More songs in the vein of Sky Machine, Eidolon and Float and less in the vein of A.M War and The Refusal.



I also hope they go back to Forrester Savell to produce the album. His production is perfect for them.

They're pretty good live. Ian sounds the same on stage for the most part which is impressive. He's a

pretty weird performer but imo do whatever it takes to get that emotion out
