I agree with the first bit. It quite describing my exact impression of the EP.. up til the 5th and
6th paragraphs as well as the last half of the 7th.
The last half of the "Ocean of the Sky" track I find very well assembled and timed. It echoes off
the end of the first half preparing one for the next segment of organized mayhem. The mayhem being
the various resonanctic sounds with statements of warning. Subjectively I find it very well put
together or fiddled with to make a fairly decent 'bonus track', if you will.
When it comes to "tethys" I consider this an ambient approach for the most part. Various sound
effects thrown together for a, and wiki says it best:

"Ambient music is said to evoke an "atmospheric", "visual" or "unobtrusive" quality. To
quote one pioneer, Brian Eno, "Ambient Music must be able to accommodate many levels of listening
attention without enforcing one in particular; it must be as ignorable as it is interesting.""

According to this definition, they did it perfectly. The key is to lay back, not have anything on
your mind, and, just.. listen.

They haven't really done anything thorough with this although I believe Shallow Believer was my
favorite of their material because they dipped their toes into a tad of ambiance. I pray they have
some material like the last 1.5 tracks blissfully blended in their upcoming album to take us over
new horizons with them.

I will agree the 20 minutes may be a little excessive and hope they have decent portions mixed in
with tradition, if not newer, like sound.
