That last paragraph is just the perfect way to describe how to get into this album, a couple songs into my second listen and I'm really enjoying this.

Thom, have you heard Maybeshewill? This is reminding me of them, and they're one of my favorite post-rock bands. They really have an edge about them, which I also detect with these guys.

Though I have heard the name quite a few times, I haven't actually listened to them. I'll try to give 'em a spin sometime soon!

Glad to hear many of you are enjoying this!

Making Maybeshewill my work jam right now. I can already tell these guys are highly influenced by them. Good stuff.

You're right, this will take a couple more listens before it can be accurately rated. The book-end tracks are great, but right now I think I enjoy Of Whom I Always Think more.

First track was outstanding but the rest didn't hold up as well.

This album is fucking great. It sounds Russian Circles, if they weren't so in love with their tones and build-ups

Not my cup of cake. If this is post rock or even post metal then so is Animals as Leaders, and while I actually do like Animals as Leaders this album and band are boring as fuck. There are no epic soundscapes or melodies whatsoever.

There's really nothing that makes me want to come back to this. I suppose the parts I liked grew off me.
