The production on this is really the only thing holding this back from being up to par with fake history

it's such a shame. all of these are so good.

i miss this band. Fever 333 is ugh and Pressure Cracks, although obviously solid, just isn't as creative.

27 Club and The Priest and Used Cars are two of the best letlive songs

The infuriating thing about the production is that you can hear what the album could have been production-wise on the Renditions series the band was teasing back in the day

Well I thought the production on the Renditions tracks made all the intruments sound much clearer, this albums production just sounds muffled

Oh, I was agreeing with you with that comment. The renditions tracks sounded 100% better than the album.

What I was getting at was "This, so much" basically

Yeah their last album was just offensively bad.

This record’s production was by someone who had only produced pop and hip hop which probably explains why it’s so bad

everyone hates on this albums production, and ill admit i didnt like it at first, but that was only in comparison to fake history's aggressively compressed/metalcore esque production.

i actually really enjoy the softness/muddyness to this record now. its like a wall of sound.

on Muther - '“The Scarlet Letter” meets modern America’s marital statistics coupled with the wonderful world of neo family structure or what many believe to be a complete lack thereof. No matter how great the indiscretion, you must remember, we as humans will err. Just as the clichéd maxim put it, we must also learn from these indiscretions. Exercise an effort to understand- and continue forward. This is how we will become better humans. Emotion with tinges of logic, such a beautiful paradox. Oh, it’s also about my mom… and some idiot that was not my father'

edit - he has one of these for every song on the album

The band pretty much became the Jason Butler Show, can’t imagine how much were they would’ve devolved had they continued
