Agreed. Other than that, he doesn't come across as pretentious at all. I've seen him in loads of interviews and he just has a firm opinion and will back it up and stick by it like anyone else. He's also never said that his music is better than anyone else's or something either

And most importantly, he does it for himself whilst arguably not sounding arrogant about his releases every year from different projects. The iPod thing is still ridiculous though. Does he think every iPod user only ever has it on shuffle? Well... The ones that don't actually own a shuffle, I mea.

Yea other than that ipod thing I really have had no problem with him. People seem to think sometimes that when he talks about his "best work" or about his own work highly that he's being full of himself. He never does it to excess and he's just being happy with his work which is a good thing.

I hear him talk about other bands work more than his own. I honstly don't know where this idea of him being pretentious came from

The iPod thing is awesome and I will take mine to Steven "God" Wilson if I can find it.

@Green during the Insurgentes sessions he got outside and smashed iPods a lot of different ways (axe, hammer, throwing them), to express his hatred against mp3 format and people listening to music on their iPods because he says it sounds like shit. And yeah I agree with him on some of his opinions on music formats to some extent

It's really not that big of a deal looking at it now. It's just his opinion and he can have it, but when I first saw the video I was like wow what a dick lol
