oath bound was their album what took me the longest to like, but nowadays i like it plenty. never really paid much attention to production values on summoning albums, esp. for the drumming. lugburz notwithstanding :P having the best drumming

i don't really notice the production either but Oath Bound is particularly brickwalled. it's so hard to hear the riffs and everything is just kinda smushed together. doesn't help that the riffs are kinda abstract and arpeggiated tho. i still love it tho

Oath Bound is really good, but towards the bottom of their discog for me. I know that's an unpopular opinion.

I should bump this. Been addicted to Summoning lately. Stronghold is super close to a 5 for me.
