I'd say Nightshade Forests is their best since then, it's very under-appreciated.

new paysage and summoning after like 7 years is pretty sweet
|
| |
This is my worst review and I don't even know if I agree with any of it because I actually love Pale
White Morns and Darkened Eves. I just did it because Summoning rules and they deserve better. Fuck
this is growing on me even harder now that I finally was able to listen with good quality headphones
and 320. I won't say it surpasses Oath Bound tho cus that album means a lot to me.

It's starting to get better, but I still don't like The White Tower.
|
| |
The White Tower might be the weakest song on here but at least it's hypnotic. That freaking riff man.
and the female elf vocals are sexy. ( i hope they're female.)

haha

and then the flute comes in as well on that song. it's like you are being lulled into the forest to be seduced by an elvish succubus. why didnt i include that in the review

yeah it's really hypnotic...pretty great in the context of the album

I love Flammifer, the title track, Of Pale White Morns and Darkened Eves, and The Wandering Fire, but the others are taking more work to really get into and appreciate fully. Don't get me wrong, I still think this is a great album, but I keep feeling a little disappointed for some reason whenever I listen to it.
