Still can't decide if I like that or Vesper more. Completely different albums so I don't know why I'm even comparing them though, I just feel the need to listen to the other after I listen to one for some reason.

Vallendusk is my favorite bm this year. Best bm I've heard in a while actually. Didn't think anything would top this or Summoning in the genre this year, but I'm always up for surprises.

The atmosphere and all the melodic tremolo riffs on that album are beast, will be up near the top of my end of the year list probably. And I'm still sad I could never get into the new Summoning nearly as much as I hoped..

Yeah that atmosphere is what really drew me in. Really great stuff. You should check out Der Weg Einer Freiheit if you haven't yet. They're very similar.
