I don't get how someone could rate this a 2.5. There is nothing average about this. I can honestly see how someone could rate this a 1 more than a 2.5. A 1 shows some sort of feeling towards the album. It weird, the vocals are fucked, and that can easily put someone off. But a 2.5? Average? Indifferent? I don't get it.

i think some people really dig the music at about 3.5-4.0 level but hate the vocals hence 2.5.

Well, ratings are subjective. Like, a 2.5 for me isn't necessarily average, it could be more positive/negative for others, etc.
I think the vocals clearly make-or-break this in my opinion, musically it's so creative that it's hard to turn that down.
