Will do. Judging from the Sput ratings, their discog seems extremely reliable which is a good sign.

their best record imo, the title tracks is just devastating

Yeah discog is impeccable, though the sound does shift
Earlier stuff is dirty searing punk blues, middle period got a lot of knife blade serrated folk things, this later period is incredible pedal and riff fuckery
If you liked this though would bank on you digging Gaz and Fi’s newer project Tropical Fuck Storm

I actually got into Tropical Fuck Storm before this. Those first two records are incredible but they really fell off after that imo

Agreed although saving my condemnations of the fall off until they have a fourth record out (and Deep States still had some big hits for me, just a little more wobbly tracklist than the other two)
And Laughing Death’s right up here with this in fave album of the 2010s territory

Laughing Death in Meatspace is incredible. I actually found TFS from looking at your 5's one day Porcupine after realizing you were a Cave fan

"album slaps hard. need more like this now."
Not sure if it's quite the same but I see a fair amount of overlap between these guys and a British band called Thumpermonkey. I'm obsessed with this album at the moment - https://thumpermonkey.bandcamp.com/album/we-bake-our-bread-beneath-her-holy-fire
