This has become one of my favorite comeback records. Also, Vindication has one of the coolest choruses I've heard in a
long time

This is one of my childhood bands, so I can't really be too hard on them... that is, except for the really shitty Tate releases :P

Yeah, he fucked over his entire reputation, which is a shame given how fantastic of a vocalist he is

Tate's my all-time fave rock vocalist, but he's also a douchebag; sadly, he dragged this band along with him. He just had to go.
I hope the band makes a better album than this one, but at the same time I'm aware that it's no easy task.

Alright, just upped The Warning to a 4.5. Still such a damn great record
|
| |
No joke, I actually did a Scarlet Letter research paper and used Tate's shitheaded antics as an example in my thesis
|
| |
seeing these ratings makes me think i should actually give it a try

It's my favorite Ryche album since Mindcrime. Todd LaTorre fits in the band like a glove and the sound rekindles the classic style of 80s Queensryche exceptionally well
|

it's really not that good

Then again, I didn't like Empire. Promised Land was great though

This is p sucky tbh.
|
| |
i have a feeling i'd expect something remotely as good as mindcrime/warning/rage and be disappointed, oh well worth a try
|
| |
I only jammed this twice when it came out, and the only reason I think I'd ever have for listening again was if I'd overplayed all the good QR albums and needed to hear something fresh.
|
| |
thing's production sounds a complete mess

I mean, LaTorre shines on here, but the rest of the band really doesn't imo.
|
| |
Just stick to pre-HITNF Ryche

That's what most do anyways.
There are some of us fanboys who kinda dig the later stuff, but yeah, early-era Ryche will always be their best era.
