Fuckin' Dire Straits man, such a great band. Have only listened to their debut and I loved it so much, I decided to purchase all of their studio albums.

Don't have to really. Their debut is all the proof I need for this man's geniuses. The fact that he plays what he plays without a plectrum, makes him a fantastic guitarist.

I get that that's the consensus and v much see where it comes from, but I've always gotten a slightly different vibe from this one; there's something cooler and a little more melodic to it maybe...but then again I grew up with this album and took a while to get to the debut so it's probs just my bias ;] the first 4 DS albums are total gold dust at any rate
