L.A. Woman is definitely one of my favorite driving tracks.

this band is so god damn boring. lots of fun songs, could prob make a wicked comp, but could never stomach an entire album

Probably my 2nd favorite Doors album.
@Gyro: Try Waiting for the Sun, it's probably their most diverse.

I would never think of this band as boring considering they are one of the most consistent rock acts that range from psych to blues rock. Great lyrics as well. But it all comes down to personal preference I think. If you're not a fan of blues rock, chances are you won't like The Doors.

i'll check that out, ars
|

i love blues rock, i just found the albums i heard by these guys boring as hell. soft parade and american prayer sucked, and i was massively let down by the s/t

Well, Soft Parade and American Prayer are arguably the weakest Morrison albums. But since you're into blues rock, Morrison Hotel and L.A. Woman are their bluesiest material so you might want to check them too at some point.

Yeah, perfect opener. I love every song on this one with the exception of L' America.
|

Yep, always thought L'America was the weakest but this whole record is fantastic.
