Yeah Light Years is a really fun album and the rerecorded stuff from this album on Retrospect EP is really incredible.

Retrospect and the new singles in particular just really tickle my butthole in every way, some of my fav music being made right now.

only checked the first 2 singles and apparently the last 2 on the album have been some of the other singles which is wildly dumb

It's out friday babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. And yeah, I did the 1st 3 singles and admittedly did them way too many times because I'm weak and they were extremely good. Avoided the last 2 because at this point they've released half of the album before it's out and I hate that shit, especially when the last song is released as a single.

Coma is an Outliers level of massive and gorgeous and I feel bad for listening to it so many times before album drop but the keyboardist did confirm for me that it's not the last track when I called them out on social media haha. It's probably the 2nd to last track tho and the last track is probably some chill less epic bullshit.

Well I made the mistake/had the pleasure of hearing all of those singles when they came out, so my expectations are already pretty high. Jamming now!

Legend and Safehouse had me thinking it was gonna be a bit hookier as whole but nah, it's def a prog as prog gets album through and through. a really pretty one doe. not sure how hard it's going to stick in my rotation but i def enjoyed it

Mathematically they are 17x better than Periphery.

I would liken this new album more to like. The Contortionist - Clairvoyant, but happy.
