The songwriting on this album is on another level. Everyone made good instrumental contributions, and the vocal melodies, harmonies, and trade-offs are so fucking on point. It feels like they all wrote this together, whereas with King of No Man it feels like there was some distance between the members. Things just feel less thought out. And then you have like four songs that Bobby repurposed for it, none of which really worked out in that setting imo.

i remember when i first joined sput in 2013 this album was a big deal
dont think ive heard it since back then tbh, suprised they havent released much over the last 9 years

Well they broke up, but they recently got back together and played some shows, then posted their 2022 Spotify Wrapped saying they had big plans for 2023.
Not sure if "big plans" means new music or a reunion tour, either (or both!) would be fantastic.
