According to the press release most of the black metal elements and screaming are gone for Infinite Granite. That would be very disappointing to me. I feel like the band attracted people because of the yin and yang between heaviness and beauty. If they take away one half of that? Yikes.

as far as this one single stacking up againt OCHL i'd say the single has better production, better vocals and the layering of the screams around the 5 min mark with the shoegaze vocals is a really nice touch, and also George's cleans sound so goddamn smooth, honestly 4/5 single
