Staying Power, Back Chat, Cool Cat, and Under Pressure are pretty good, but the rest isn't something I'd pop on very often x(

exactly
Dancer is pretty cool
I think this album, along with the rest of Queen's 80s catalogue worked much better live (save for The Miracle, for obviously unfortunate reasons), where they had far less dependence on synthesizers.

yeah, though they really relied too much on synths on that like with all the other 80s stuff

well yeah but still could really do without them

true i guess, though I think Made in Heaven did the synth/rock contrast far better
not to mention the keys on Too Much Love Will Kill You sound like garbage

Flash is far worse, only three, four good tunes on it. Would've done much better if there was less dialogue. The Works is decent, I disagree with you saying It's A Hard Life being a rehash of Play The Game. Honestly, besides the theme, I don't see how it's anything but a rehash.

The Hero kicks so much ass
the OST worked better with the movie, you really can't have one without the other.

IT'S THE TERROR OF KNOWING WHAT THIS WORLD IS ABOUT
WATCHING SOME GOOD FRIENDS SCREAMING "LET ME OUT"
Under Pressure alone makes this worth a peek every now and then.

I thought a couple tracks were quite good on this, it didn't blow me away though. The closer was really nice.

Somewhat good in an ironic way but also the one where they took the most risks, which mostly didn't pay off.

Under Pressure is obviously enjoyable. But wow this is just a flaming pile of trash aside

Yeah, it's certainly passable. Apparently this album was one of Michael Jackson's biggest inspirations to make Thriller
