this is the first time i've heard this band and album is pretty darn good, but vocals in some parts kind of annoy me, bring it down for me

still really digging this record. I have no complaints for the vocals. Then again I listen to lots of bands with vocalists that seem to really polarize people (Thursday, Piebald, etc.) Sometimes raw, slightly "pitchy" vocals actually go really well with the music. These kind of vocals can toe a fine line to me from band to band where it either works or sounds terrible, but the vocals mesh well on this record in my opinion.

Emo is just so repetitive and the guitar work is usually balls. ill actually give an exception to this guys though it was the vocals that drove me insane. Im liking screamo so much more gospel, pg. 99, and city and caterpillar make these guys look like fools.
