Like the final track of this is achingly out of place but it’s so phenomenal and beautiful I wish they did more of that stuff :/

Yea, the sax is absolutely out of place abd it's probably the most melodic thing on here, so it sticks out pretty hard, but it's great and so memorable. :3

Both sax solos on the album are highlights.

I haven't thought about this band in a while. I skipped through Embers and yea that little 90 second coda is probably this band's best moment. I might edit that part out and stick it on my iPhone to listen to whenever I want haha

He is definetly one of the best singers I know and he really shines ob WMBB. But I also enjoy what Ashe does on this. Some of his melodies are so intricate yet catchy. Some of the songs aren't so memorable though

Retrospect and Resis are so good omg. Why can't this whole album be more like these two tracks?

I'm curious, why do you think it's the best? It doesn't do anything for me

It think it's my favorite too. But a lot of that was lightning in a bottle with Ashe. He took their completed music and wrote (IMHO) an almost-perfect stream of vocal melodies over top that fit SO well and that will never bore me. I have every note of his memorized on this album and it never gets old to me as long as I don't loop it a few times in a single day. And for the reasons some people find it boring, I see it as a strength. Just a polarizing album.
