I still hate the drum sound here, but I've grown to like the guitar / bass combo a little more. I still stand behind my point that I think this is overproduced HARD. I always hated the production these guys had but I like the sound of One a lot more than the last time I listened to it.

I really like the sax parts and some of the vocal hooks, but this can be really tireing

I still fucking love this. I honestly don't love or hate the production, its fairly typical for the genre I think. I'm generally on team Daniel but I will always wonder what might have come if Ashe had stuck around.

There is something hypnotic about this stream of samey riffs. It has a kind of appeal I can't really grasp, it can suck you into it's world, if that makes sense. That doesn't always work for me though. Really confusing

I like Polaris the most, but I enjoyed this today, might bump this up again. I have to be in the mood though

I like Polaris, but Hexes so clearly stands out as the high point on the album that, for me, it doesn't ever recover.

Okay, I'll bump this up, it's great! But hell, it needed a lot of time to click with me.
Talking about Polaris, I guess I am all for colourful songwriting in general. Its songbases approach works really well for me

"I just can't remember a thing on the second half of that album."
That's interesting because it has more hooks haha.

Never really understood the acclaim for this band but this is a joyous listen every now and then. I think it’s their best. They just needed a more powerful singer for this and the guitar sound is just...overbearing at times.

They were great with their debut but that's really about it.
