End of small sanctuary, breeze, clockwork, letter, dance with night wind, never forgive me, rain of brass petals 3 voices, and hometown are all great, but most of the rest is just serviceable. Don't think this OST is nearly as legendary as 2s, but still great. You're not here should have been one of the best silent hill songs but it totally ditches that gorgeous ethereal guitar intro and turns into more of a rock song which really bothers me

Love this so much I improved the Silent Chill Mixtape with tracks from the bonus version of this

yeah definitely need to get all the tracks added to my library - seems like there are a handful of good ones that aren't included on the official OST for some reason...

yee my gf got me the new mondo vinyl re-issue for christmas as a nice surprise, they all got bought up by scalpers upon release and are pricey as fucking hell. the datadisc/mondo stuff I have so far is all amazing quality though.

Everything is so good here, this might surpass 2's by a midget, my least favorite SH from Team Silent but it has one hell of a soundtrack

3 is great but it lacks in some areas that the other ones excell, like story and characters, i like Heather but that's about it, i felt the plot was alright and coming from 2 the ending was a huge step down

Those elements are lacking but I just love the aesthetics of 3 and the atmosphere. Both of those qualities are ofc perfected in 2 thought, I don't think there's much pushback about that being the best SH game. I can respect 4 at #2, game is underrated as hell, but 1 just doesn't do much for me if I'm being honest. Just too noticeably dated mechanically and graphically. It's the one game I wish they'd do a remake for, but I feel like a remake of the others would lose the lo-fi atmosphere that makes them so special

Hard agree there, i really liked the environments overall, my favorite part of the game has to be the wheelchair on the Brookhaven basement with all the bullet holes on the elevator and wall, that whole section is so effing unsettling lol one of my favorites experiences with the series so far

4 so far is very underrated, is janky as all hell but the premise, characters and story keeps you going besides that.



About 2, yeah, me personally don't love the game for the challange, instead, for atmosphere, story and characters, those are enough elements to make it memorable imo

yes the environments were awesome, right from the very first section of the game onwards. and yes that hospital sequence was such an unsettling experience. 4 has some pretty disturbing moments too, and especially fucked up in its enemy design imo. crazy underrated game
