While the music is highly inconsistent, Matt has never sounded stronger than on here. Especially his chest voice is impressive. Animals displays a degree of musicianship that his barely seen in post-BH&R days

Tbh Animals would have even been an highlight on OOS and that says a lot about its quality. Now that his voice is deteriorating this is the perfect kind of style they should have persued - more instrumentally focused and less demanding in the vocal department
