Been said many times in here it seems like but Shame in You truly is such an incredible song

Nothin Song is really the only track here I don’t care for.
And ya, Shame in You is incredible. I’d put it up there with some of their best, along with Sludge Factory, God Am, and Over Now

I’ve grown to appreciate this album so much more over the past few years. Frogs is so menacing and bitter

Entire album rules, I don't know why it gets overlooked. I first listened in 7th grade around 1998 and never outgrew it, unlike a lot of other things I listened to back then.

There's some really great stuff on here, but tracks like Nothin Song let it down massively. There's a seismic gulf between this and Dirt.

I can agree with that entire statement. If Nothing Song, So Close and Grind were gutted, I would find this to be closer to their other works. I was never very taken by Brush Away or Head Creeps either, aside from the distortion solo in the first one.

if dirt is the downward spiral into addiction this is the resignation to it. just really bleak. and when you see that irl it really hits home.
