Thanks a ton, bud! Glad you enjoyed them (both.) =]

Is that the one with the weird-ass piano part that doesn't fit at all? Haha, trying to keep them straight.

That's exactly the one. The piano part kinda makes sense after many listens :] Nice avatar btw

Haha, thanks. I've gotten so many shoutbox comments on the avatar, so I think I may have to keep it for awhile.

I've heard the song about 5 times now, and I love all of it except for the piano part. It feels copy/pasted into the song and it rubs me the wrong way. I want to like the piano part, though, because it's a cool idea.

I'm torn because on the one hand, I agree, but on the other, Cerulean reminds us all of a time when we have more Dev in our lives.

So I just don't know man.

that part is awesome and needed something to break the immersion otherwise it begins to lull you (no past lives, right)?

also thought earth death was the best song here at first and now it kind of sounds like a placebo rip-off

there are no missteps here in my opinion other than incompatible where i think all of the criticism about this record is really brought to the forefront

Lewis, I thought so on the first listen but it's really grown on me. May the same happen with you?

cerulean was kind of an uneven, disjointed mess but it was simply fun and had a lot of cool stuff.

this one just seems a bit homogenous, pretty plain and idk, just sort of ordinary and predictable. could be a grower i guess.

there are some nice tracks though, i like the first 2 and one near the end. i think it was phaedra?

Great review, I'll hopefully leave some feedback soon but for now I have a bit of work to do (not least of which includes starting a review I should probably have finished by now)

all in all this review wasn't as excruciatingly generic as his others though
