| |
JT, have you heard "Over the Hills and Far Away" by Gary Moore?
| |
Yeah I have, it rules.
| |
I just heard it, made me laugh hard.
I've only listened to his bluesy stuff so it seemed so odd.
Has he got more material like that?
| |
Yeah, the albums Run For Cover, Wil Frontier (the album that Over te Hills is from) and After the War are all 80's rock with an occasional Celtic rock influence.
| |
oh darling darling darling walk awhile wit me
| |
Awesome, need to check them out :-]
| |
The two albums before those 3, Corridors of Power and Victims of the Future, are both hard rock too although they lean more towards 80's metal at times.
| |
I've got a best of with the track "Hiroshima" on it, which sounds almost like power metal!
| |
That song's from Dirty Fingers, which is another album that borders on metal.
I also remember seeing We Want Moore! on your 'Dad's Vinyl' list, definitely check that one out, it's an incredible live album that has quite a few of his heaviest songs on.
