i've already explained i LOVE the guitars in nothing lasts forever so I don't care if the chorus isn't the greatest and yeah he sounds kinda gay in the beginning of the song.

like 3 songs that are worth listening to more than once : Nothing Last Forever, Second to Right, and Lake Q.



Lets be honest here. So throughout the album there was parts that I was like "ya this is cool" and then the next part had a boring a chorus or a terrible vocal line and then I was like "next song". Honestly this album would be average to good if it had better production. But the fact is that the production is terrible; the vocals sound like dirt. He goes off key so many times.



The guitars are not even CLOSE to as interesting as in L&F. They sound so muffled. The lead guitars in "Nothing Lasts Forever" are cool, but it pisses me off you can't hear that solo.(like i said in a previous comment) Also the intro riffs in "Weathered Souls" and "Summer, Me" are really cool, but they both lead into lackluster chorus's and overall shitty songs.



Honestly this album is so disappointing. Luckily I just started listening to Transit a couple months ago. I cannot imagine fans who waited YEARS to hear this pile of dung.

haha different genres, can't compare. But it's really a difference in perspective. I heard one TCM song before I listened to the album and I went in thinking meh, the song was OKAY, but I was surprised on how good the vocals were and then there was a whole bunch of songs that jumped out of the rise metalcore sound and I found myself really enjoying it.(might buy it actually)



On the other hand. I came into Transit thinkin "YES, I can't wait to hear more Transit". I was sorely disappointed, and was especially surprised on how BAD the vocals are. I never thought he was a great vocalist, but the instrumentation and good production on L&F supported the vocals well. Here they lose the good production and while there is some spotlights where the previous instrumentation shines through, it is few and far between. The vocals just sit on their own and they don't work.

I'd rather the vocals sound different than just sound identical to their last album. I feel like everybody wants a repeat of their last album.

also the guitar solo you're pissed you can't hear is only like 5 seconds long lol

I don't mind if they are different. But they are BAD. Out of key. Monotonous. Just all around, BAD. No spice. No Flair. Blah.



haha and ya I know, but that part is cool, and its just a testament to how bad the production actually is. Like I don't know if they purposely went to a less refined production style; but if they were going for a raw sound, it didn't work. It sound like a basement studio, as opposed to raw.



I raised my rating a bit because its not absolute trash, its just not good by any stretch of the imagination.
