Nothing Lasts Forever is like the worst offender here! Especially that super generic chorus. It's almost as bad as Hang It Up.

Hazy is a godawful song, and for every 2 good songs, there's a bad one

the songs i enjoyed, i REALLY enjoyed haha, and maybe bad was a poor word to use, i really only dislike Hazy. Songs like Lake Q and Hang It Up just don't do anything for me.

The more I listen, the more I decide I really love the first three tracks, and really cannot stand Hazy. God damn that song is awful.

Also there are way too many damn "woah-oh's" on this album

And the addition of Torre Cioffi has made their guitarwork exponentially better, compare Keep This To Yourself to Listen and Forgive/Young New England.

It's much poppier sounding and the vocals are weird, which is strange considering the same people who produced Listen and Forgive worked on this album as well

"Also there are way too many damn "woah-oh's" on this album"

Agreed. I can't say for sure if it is the production, but his vocals sound weird, the hooks are off, and it just seems much worse than it should be.

Production is pretty terrible for the most part. The amount of vocal parts that are terribly off-key is incredible considering the stature of the band.

I completely agree with productions stopping this from being higher rated. It just felt like it lacked some of the energy that listen and forgive had while in terms of content most of the songs are just as good

Production isn't the best, but l still enjoy this. Everyone's hopes were up because of how good Listen and Forgive was.
