This album is great, I'm genuinely shocked. Leagues better than the previous 2 albums in my opinion. Got some nice grooves, mathy riffs, catchy hooks and atmosphere. I consistently enjoy this all the way through too, which I can't say for those albums either.

yeeaa the hate for this one is largely due to the fact that it doesnt sound like is this it/room on fire strokes. I for one think its pretty fantastic, super fun and catchy. Definitely better than angles at least for me

Oh man I love this album to be fair! Welcome To Japan is an absolute banger. Probably my 2nd favourite Strokes album, surprisingly has a lot going for it.

80's Comedown Machine is a proper feeler. One of the moodiest tracks these guys have done. Also loving the follow up to this album too. Glad I've took my time to listen through their discog.
