I like this better than Alive or Just Breathing honestly, this actually has interesting guitar and non terrible vocals

It's actually their worst album, but it still wasn't awful. I still don't really feel Jesse's vocals on this.

I'll be honest and say that Killswitch Engage II was one of my favorites by them for a while.

That album SUCKED. AOJB is definitely their best.

I do have a bit of bias for ADD because it was the first real metal album l got into.

Alive or Just Breathing is just awful, I'd probably like it if I heard it when it came out and melodic metalcore was in its infancy, but nah I just can't listen to it today

Lol Trebor the catharsis value in Alive or Just Breathing shits atomic bombs on this album. I still

like this though.

I still love AOJB and I was one of the (relative) apologists for the second self titled, but I'm a lot less interested in hearing this than I would have been 4-5 years ago. I'll still check it out, but my expectations are tempered.

It's not as good as AOJB, but this is still pretty good.

I remember when it was considered to abominable taste to like ADD and here everyone is citing it as their fav album.

When was it ever abominable?

When that LP first dropped everyone started talking about how generic and formulaic and inferior it was to TeoH and AOJB but then KsEII dropped and everyone forgot about it.

ADD's a fun listen every 2 years or so; I much prefer their first two albums.

Interesting point. ADD is inferior to AOJB, but there are many great things about it. TeoH is also

pretty formulaic compared to AOJB, so was there negativity towards that one at first as well?

I've liked everything they have done, but more so ADD and AOJB compared to the others.

the first two records are best, but ADD and TEOH aren't terrible. I actually probably prefer ADD just slightly of the two.

Temple From Within and Vide Infra are still their best songs imo
