This is pretty good, but "Always" is horrible. And yet, it is this only KSE track they play on-air on Denmark.

It's probably because it's their latest single.

In Due Time is pretty great, but, yeah, Always is a bit of a shit track. Haven't heard this in full, yet.

"It's probably because it's their latest single."

No shit, Sherlock, but that doesn't change the fact that it's the only KSE song I've heard on Danish radio ever

Damn this album seems so generic now. The choruses are radio rock now...not really the hearty stuff we

used to hear. I'm tempted to say the last album is better. Also tempted to say The End of Heartache is

better than As Daylight Dies. I listened to it the other day and holy fuck is that a good album. It

finally grew on me after four years.

Problem with End of Heartache listening nowadays is that with how much more streamlined the band got on ADD, it's hard to see how influential/new/revolutionary the album was at the time. Still, it's got a buttload more raw energy than ADD, as well as Take This Oath.

Besides the change from Jesse to Howard, is there that much of a difference between AoJB and Heartache?

@Ecnalzen Heartache is more melodic and follows the familiar verse-chorus-verse-chorus formula. It's still a great album nonetheless.

Yeah, Heartache toned down the bass-heavy breakdowns and occasional odd-timed sections from the first two LPs, introduced more clean singing and melodies, and more traditionally structured songs.

"Always" is a beast of a song. The rest of the album is a-ok, but they can do better. Certainly excited about what they do next!

Well, I like it more because, I guess, I identified with the song. It's different, admittedly, but isn't necessarily bad.
