This isn't bad at all, it just doesn't have any replay value for me.

Because he does have a right to question it. It may or may not change things (and probably won't) but he can try.

Well people have been questioning his opinion since the start of this thread lol. Its old news. He's a close minded extreme metal fan, theres no point trying to question his opinion, because its always right.

Been spinning this lately. It's good but nothing is really standing out.

Second disc is way better though.

I agree, songs like vesta and memories confined could have been axed from the album. Apart from a few moments of filler i was actually pleasantly surprised by this album. My faith has definitely been restored in this band, after this decent album.

This deserves a 4 just for the effort and quality these guys put into it. I no longer listen to it either, however. Got boring and predictable real soon. I'm not sure how to describe it, I just fucking know what the song will be like so I don't play it at all. Music shouldn't feel like this.

Most music feels like this (predictable), even within non-mainstream music.

While most music feels predictable, some music makes you wait for what's next and enjoy the shit out of it when it comes. This album feels kinda hollow in that regard. There are some nice moments, though. Overall I'd feel like I was doing Soilwork an injustice if I rated it lower than 4
