Well they have changed their style to more of an alt rock sound they don't have screamed vocals anymore so I can't really think of any bands off the top of my head. Mallory Knox maybe.

^those are really good similar-sounding bands. Check those out if you haven't Atari. Honestly, I think you'll really like these guys; pop punk/alt rock with some substance. They really changed up their sound when they lost their screamer.

I think Blindside got noticed around the time when nu metal was pretty popular and might have got lumped in with it. I

have always thought of them as hard rock/post hardcore.

the closing track is amazing. I've listened to bits and pieces of the album here and there, so I'm not quite sure what to say of it but the closing track is definitely one of their best songs

Haven't listened to all of it yet, but I like it what I have heard. I will most likely buy it when it hits the states. Apparently that 9/17 date was wrong for the US. I think they posted on Facebook it was coming out in January next year.
