Total Life Forever has some great tracks but a lot of it seems to wash over me. Honestly, the entire second half feels like a complete non-event to me. [2]

Antidotes is still their best

Thanks Gyro, and you're right man that does sound a bit angry and out of context. I'll change it.

Can't wait to review this.

This isn't nearly as much of an evolution as I'd hoped, it just seems like an extension on TLF. Which was great, which is why this earns a 4. The combination of Prelude and Inhaler really got my hopes up for a masterpiece though, which this doesn't deliver on. I think if they really committed to making this darker and heavier it would have been a 5.

And yeah, Late Night is definitely the Spanish Sahara. Oh, and TLF is a 4.5 even though it drops off so dramatically after This Orient. The first half is fucking incredible.

i'm glad people aren't hating on "My Number" and seem to be just enjoying it for what it is. I love that track but was kind of fearing that it was gonna get this wave of hate.

It sounds like a Cold War Kids song or something (not a compliment) but I don't care cause it grooooooves and every once in a while you can hear his Aussie accent and it makes me barf and smile at the same time!

I haven't heard the single yet, I'll check it out. I enjoy foals, but not so much to be honest. If it's too hipster, it's not my cup of tea.

Yeah, when I first heard about foals, it was oh, math rock! Now what they make is simply called hipster music.

I still don't really get what someone means when they accuse something of being "hipster garbage." First thing that comes to mind is something like Vampire Weekend, but that's only cause they're popular and hip to mention during shitty sitcoms with Sarah Silverman. I mean I listen shit tonnes of "hipster music" so I guess I don't really see the tag as a negative.

tldr, this rules
