The invite-only store that hyp posted last page isn't invite-only anymore fyi
It's a bunch of live sets that are altogether around 4 hours long

Sweet. How much do the live sets differ from the studio recordings?
|
| |
You can stream all 4 of the sets from the store and see for yourself
I haven't listen to any of them from start to finish but what I heard sounded like what you would expect from a live set as far as I can tell (pretty grimey, noisier etc)

oh ok. I didn't see the streaming option
I just don't want to buy all this stuff only to find that it sounds basically like the studio versions lol

their live sets are a whole other world

|

other than oversteps, their albums from the 2000s are somewhat similar

its weird how this sounds so much more structured and melodic and beat driven coming back to this now after a few months to me, at least compared to something like draft where a good chunk of it is sort of just formless textures that loop/reoccur

on draft they took beats and melodies and combined them into something new and exciting! Flep is kind of like that too I think

2nd favorite AE easily.

im saying though with something like tapr or the later half of xylin room theres not really any distinctive beat i can ever pull out but there almost always is on this
