I'm really digging this, some of their best work.

not really seeing much in this so far. there are some good riffs / hooks here and there, but i don't see this topping dtw at all
|

i haven't found it to be all that catchy. still need to listen to it some more though.

Have you heard Massachusetts yet, Emyay? It's probably the catchiest song for me.

good track, but i feel like the chorus is a bit lacking. eveything else is money though

Yeah, the verses are pretty fucking fantastic, as well as the bridge (even if it is a little short). I just wish Shane had better clean vocals. I would like this band a lot more if he had better tone.

i don't mind his voice, there are shittier singers out there. this just doesn't have the catchiness that dtw had. thats what i'm looking for in this band, and i'm not seeing it here

I have always though his cleans were not so great, but his scream is pretty damn good. The guitarists write some really fun riffs too.

I'd argue there's almost no difference in his vocals from DTW to this album, minus the production. They've always been excellent IMO.

"I stand amid the roar/ Of a surf-tormented shore"
From a Poe poem I apparently wrote to towards the end of high school. That was really neat, haha

This album grows off everything they've been working on for like a decade, it's still so damn good.

I feel like I would have liked this a lot more when I was 14. Feels real generic though.
